Head to Foot

• Day pack (bring garbage bag to use as a liner)
• Hat or visor
• Bandana
• Shorts
• Bathing suit
• Rain jacket
• Hiking boots
• Socks (3-4 pair)
• Polypropylene long johns and top
• Warm shirt (wool or pile) (winter tours: Oct.-Apr.)
• Sweat pants and/or wind pants (especially for winter tours: Oct.-Apr.)
• Tennis shoes or river sandals (sport sandals)
• T-shirts
• Sunglasses
• Light shirt (preferably long sleeve)
• Light sandals (flip flops)
• Light loose pants
• Personal towel

Suggestions:

All optics should be waterproof. Straps for expensive glasses are highly recommended. We have disposable waterproof cameras available. Don't forget any prescription medications and a compact personal hygienne kit.
