Used sea kayaks for sale in west Los Angeles

The rough waters off the Na Pali Coast and the calm rivers of Kaua'i have been the "testing and play grounds" for many of the following sea kayaks. This fact speaks well enough for these true and tried veterans.

Some kayaks we are retiring out to pasture, after many years of distinguished commercial service along the Na Pali Coast. Some of them just didn't work for us and saw little sea duty

Most of the boats are being sold for cosmetic reasons. All sea kayaks remain sea worthy and capable of many more years of enjoyable service. Most of the following boats have a rudder system in place.
Note: photos lie and there is no substiture or excuse for not checking them personally or having a representative check them for you. You can also pick them up for a test drive.

Unless indicated, most are sit-in closed cockpit boats that require a spray skirt. All are made of fiberglass, or with Kevlar.

Northwest Kayak: Seascape Triple w/Rudder

Built by NorthWest Kayaks: This stable 21' double has lots of room with a center hatch for freighting gear, young child, or dog. One of these boats was paddled from the Big Island to Kaua'i. We sold one to someone who was going to use it to paddle the "Inside Passage of Alaska". The second one we sold to a marathon surf and turf racing team.

A 20' 6" double kayak by Pacific Water Sports, this kayak is very stable and has a center compartment that features bulkheads fore and aft for additional flotation and gear storage. A very safe boat; a real floater.

This kevlar sit- on -top kayak is designed for speed and abuse. Ample internal storage allows for extended camping voyages. Rudder and foot pedal system the best in the industry.

Made in Australia (home of the surf-ski). A very light sit-on-top surf ski for a paddler about 5' 6" tall. Great for a quick and aerobic paddle and with its rocker great for some open ocean rock and rolling.

Made in Hawaii by one of the top Hawaiian surf ski paddlers, Bob Twogood. In very good condition and with just enough rocker to not compromise your speed. For paddlers around 5' 8" tall.
