Wailua Bay View,is a small complex
of cozy condominiums conveniently located beach side on the east coast
of the Garden Island of Kaua'i on the historic Wailua bay and river
area. The Wailua area was the center of activity for early Hawaiians
and is known as one of Hawaii's two most sacred places. At night, it is
said that one can still hear ancient drums
thunder in concert with the nearby surf.
What
A great honeymoon retreat!
A colorful one bedroom tropical vacation rental overlooking
Wailua bay. Your retreat is capable of sleeping up to 4, with all the
amenities you would want or expect when far from the shores of your own
home
Your vacation rental is equipped with a King-sized bed in the
master bedroom and a queen sized sofa/bed in the living room with
ceiling fans to beckon in the gentle trade winds with the sounds of the
seas. Climate control air conditioning keeps the hottest day at bay.
Sunset by the beach and if you decide not to venture out to
some of the nearby excellent restaurants, some in walking distance, you
could be cooking up a "storm" with a well supplied kitchen with all the
essentials necessary to create a feast.
Other Amenities
The property sports a swimming pool and barbecue area for your
daytime and evening enjoyment. Private beach access provides a
convenient exit to swimming, surfing, snorkeling, beach combing and
body boarding.
Wailua Bay View is centrally located for exploring Kauai. Your
property is close to a public and private golf course; a walk from a
host of shopping, dining, and activity alternatives. A beach walk away
is the Wailua River and its bordering historical religious shrines. By
car and you are minutes away from the nearby highlands of the Keahou
arboretum and Sleeping Giant; or half hour from the Kilauea Light
House, quaint Hanalei and the striking Na Pali coast.

2009 RATES
Oceanfront: $150/night
*A cleaning fee of $95 is charged for all bookings less than
five nights.

Check in time is after 3:00 p.m. Check out time is 10:00 a.m.
Deposits/Cancellation Policy
A 30 % deposit of total is required to confirm reservations.
Your balance is due one month prior to your arrival. You can pay by
personal or Travelers checks. Please make check out to: John F.
Godinez. At this time we are unable to accept credit cards.
Cancellations must be received at least 30 days prior to your
arrival date. Deposits on cancellations made outside the 30 days are
refundable, less a $20.00 handling fee; a cancellation made within 30
days is subject to full forfeiture of all monies. Every effort will be
made to to re-rent your reserved space. If we are successful, a full
refund less a $20 handling fee will be made.

Directions
From the main airport in Lihue, you will exit on Ahukini Rd.
(#570). Turn right at the stoplight and go North on Kapule Hwy. (#51).
In a mile, it ends at a stoplight, joining Hwy. 56 (Kuhio Hwy.) . From
the airport to Kapa'a is more or less 15-20 minutes. Cross the bridge
of the Wailua and turn right at the Shell gas station at Papaloa Rd.
Wailua Bay View is immediately on your right. Best grocery shopping is
at Safeway and Foodland, several miles beyond us.
Combination Key Box: To unlock your vacation rental you will
find outside by the front door of your vacation rental a small dark
green "Key Box" which contains the key to open your door. It takes
PRESSING a combination/series of numbers to open the key box. Upon
receipt of your final payment, a month before your arrival, we will
send you the combination that unlocks the key box. When your vacation
rental is opened...please return lid of key box back to the main
armature of the key box.
